from twenty-eleven we go back to the mid-eighties with this dark but catchy single from a new wave/postpunk band from boston. formed in 1980, this quintet were still in high school when they started. inspired by the punk and the developing new wave scene at that time, it's no surprise their music shows a little bit of aggressiveness mixed with harmonious synth melodies uncommon to most.
band's line up: chuck white, dennis mccarthy, carmen marusich, tommy brosnan and paul i.
an early new wave l.a. indie band from the birth of the eighties fronted by the late jeffrey spirili and his brother joe spry on guitars with arty blea(drums), louis ruiz(bass) and danny sands on keyboards(what new wave outfit without it, right? lol). anyway i don't really have all the necessary facts but word on the street is that jeffrey was married to lucrecia, the girl in "the fanatic" video, which also happens to be betty boop from 'betty boop and the beat', an opening act for felony gig in their show in los angeles.
also known as airhead, these four lads from maidstone offered the world its full length album and perhaps four or five single with it. good music, really catchy songs and even better vibe..ala 'wonderstuff' oroz'sindie outfit called 'swirl' . that song "right now" is a must have for me right now. so if anyone has it pls. kindly share it for the world to hear!
