d'arc - the letter 7" 1982

i believe this was the sole 7"er from the d'arcness themselves... dunno much about the band nor i've heard about them until a friend of mine bartered it to me for some obscure post punk vinyl i don't really listen to anymore. my gain his loss or vice versa. "the letter" was written by chris lock while the flipside, also by lock, mispelled "look"and by paul watson, both tracks were produced by phil cordell for flying records company in france. i see four different releases of this single on four different labels with four different picture covers which is unusual for an indie band. go figure! well anyway, i know i haven't featured new wave artists on this blog in a while, thought i revisits some of the old time faves and dust off those rareighties vinyls like so.
