the lassie foundation - california 1996 ep

the lassie foundation, one of my favorite us shoegaze bands of the nineties along with deardarkhead and half string, was fronted by eric capuzano and wayne everett whose careers started in the early nineties with the prayer chain as an alternative rockers(this was the peak season and possibly the born of "alternative music" right after the heights of seatlle's grunge scene). both guys went on to play for starflyer 59, another us indie/shoegaze outfit i was following in the nineties(oftenly heard on kxlu radio los angeles) before finally landing on solid ground to form tlf  in 1996 with a more defined shoegaze/dreampop compositions that soon undoubtedly became their forte.

i can be her man...

i'm stealin' to be your  man...
