blink - happy day cd5 1994

let's see the lakers never looked good during the playoff this time of year... but what the heck they'd won the spotlight this past two seasons making it 16th championships altogether!! i think that's unfair for other teams to not get any recognitions of any sort.. i dunno perhaps i'm just sour graping. i hate to see 'em walkaway this early, it's just too painful to watch and a total heart breaker! oh well, we can't be too selfish it's a sport and nothing is written on a stone so we'll get 'em next season. right!? i hope maybe just maybe with a strong presence in the middle, i am tired of people labeling la "soft" and chuck(barkley), man i'd like to prove him wrong!!!hater. lol. hikbi, hikbi!!!...

okay guys let bygones be bygones and let the good times roll... these guys been around a while. i dunno if you remember this "i'm not worried i have nothing to hide from them, but you looked worried maybe just a bit concerned, oh no, oh no.." well that was an excerpt from "empty shell's" if heavens waiting 7" back in 1986 their one and only. and you asked why it was brought up, it seems like a very pre mature break up for dermot lambert and ellen leahy. they wanna do more, so following the demise of empty shell the two formed the band called "rex & dino" which was active from 1987 to '89, released two 7" records under lime and danceline records which i have yet to find or hear so if anyone has these pls. come forward. lol! i'm pretty sure it won't disappoint.
which bring me to this post, sometime in the early nineties dermot wasn't done yet. the genius of him formed yet another excellent band. a little late you'd say for the madchester era, but i'm sure that's not what they have in mind when the album "a map of the universe by blink" was released under lime records in 1995 with two baggy like singles before that including this one. but they sure make it sound really amazing yet again!!! hey guys i am really curious what rex & dino sounds like so a little help would probably close this case and solve the mystery!!

happy day(carrot cake mix)...

i would have accepted the lakers' defeat wholeheartedly if they're a lesser team than they were a year or two years ago. but damn they've been in their greatest and strongest since their reformation in my opinion. its their lack of d that made them go down the drain. i guess magic is right, the team needs a whole new roster leaving kobe untouched.

bring on d howard and it's gonna hurt to say this but get rid of gasol or bynum!!!

good riddance on gasol and bynum...and just to give you an idea on what rex and dino sound like, its a loud grunting sound as rex pounds dino repeatedly from behind, hahaha!!!

Niiiccceee meng great stuff...well here is my take on la lekars, in my opinion they were a better team last year so what i dont understand is..why fix something that aint broken, is it because of the threatened miami mambo jumbo stuff??what... dont they think highly of themselves that they need to trade a better 3 point shooter and defensive guard (farmar and the machine) for lakluster and unexperienced players of blake and barnes?? Cmon really what did those two do...nothing that can barely leave anything memorable...maybe trade bynum for howard bec. With what happened to gasol...i dont think orlando would trade the man of steel for a softie

i think the main blame is on mitch kupchak for not moving the big men b4 the trade deadline!!! this could've been all avoided!!

aaaahhh i just believe its their defense that crumbled them. zone defense just doesn't work everytime. that's what the mav's saw in game 3 and took advantage of it in game 4 by firing too many 3 points. i dont think jason terry and peja would have scored that many 3 points if lakers did the man to man defense instead of zone, just my 2 cents.

Yeah their defense suck no question its because they did not play their triangle offense effectivley...its like they were not into it i mean the lekars defense is one of the best if not one of the top 5 in the league.. the mavs offense is nothing new to them i mean they beat them before twice in regular season and even sports critics branded the mavs as soft in which the lekars can easily penetrate, it is the bench scoring that helped the mavs as well...they outscored them 4 to 1...even in regular season the lekars bench scoring really wasn't that impressive, that actually made me worry coming mid season..for me its all about
the point guard these days, blake should be traded and i hate to say this..fisher should retire.

Ahhh what about the Carrot Cake Mix...I like...As for the Lakers, I wasn't in L.A that's why walang Laker Power...Yabaaa...Ahhh and too Much Chika Babes dito, Minalas ko Lakers...Ahhhh...We just need to get rid of Blake and Fisher and get Chris Paul...we got killed by Barea...Sana hindi nalang trade si Machine, he could have guarded him...Ahhhh
